The book covers much of the history of Maternal Child Health policies and their impact. The book also has suggestions for policies moving forward.

Current, well-written textbook - very detailed. Would be better if came in a softcover and had smaller print in order to save paper and reduce the list price.

So I bought the second edition, because the third edition just came out-- and it is still selling for full price. And unfortunately, the money I saved, hasn't been helping my grade, because there are so many new chapters in the third edition. Test taking has been a challenge w/o the additional information. So if you are required to have the 3rd edition, get it, because the second edition is lacking a lot. But the book arrived quickly and in good condition.
