About the Author
Anna Leon-Guerrero is Professor of Sociology at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. She teaches courses in statistics, social theory, and social problems.�She is a�recipient of the university's Faculty Excellence Award and the K. T. Tang Award for Excellence in Research.�She received her PhD in sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles. As a social service program evaluator and consultant, she has focused her research on welfare reform, employment strategies for the working poor, and program assessment. She is also the co-author of Social Statistics for a Diverse Society, and co-editor of Contemporary Readings in Social Problems.

OK I guess

This is a text book that covers the four sociological perspective of each social problem issue like homelessness, enviroment, etc. It was interesting to know that there are many perspectives on issues and what they have to say about why social problems exist. Nothing that couldn't be summerized into a five page book though.

The book was in great condition. There was some highlighting and pen marks, but only very few and that is to be expected with a used book! Shipping was immediate and arrived much sooner than I expected! I was completely satisfied with this purchase and would reccomend this seller!
